Home-Grown Party Rock'n'Roll!
We just finished our first gig as StrobeLight, at Gaylaxicon, a national science fiction / fantasy / horror / comics / gaming convention specifically geared towards a GLBT audience.. Now in its 19th year, 2007 was the first time the con was held in Atlanta. Our set consisted of 5 Indigo Girls songs, 5 REM songs and 7 B-52s songs, plus an encore of 1 song from each band. The show was a massive success, and we had so much fun doing it that we plan to continue.

StrobeLight is a band created to highlight three awesome bands from the Atlanta/Athens area: The Indigo Girls, REM and the greatest party band in the world, the B-52s. Each of these bands has a unique sound and background that could only have originated here. We celebrate these bands and the legacy they've achieved.
A StrobeLight set can consist of either a mix of songs by these three great bands or can focus on any one of the bands.
